How is the reception staffed?

Reception is staffed throughout the day. A night porter is present from 10.30 pm.

 

When is check-in / check-out time?

Check-in is from 14:00. If you arrive earlier and your room is not yet ready, you can leave your luggage at reception. Check-out is at 11:00 am at the latest.

 

Is breakfast included? From when to when is it? Where is the breakfast room located?

Breakfast is always included. Breakfast times daily from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. Earlier possible on request. The breakfast room is located on the 1st basement floor.

 

Does the Hotel Waldhorn have a restaurant or bar?

We do not have a restaurant or bar. There are various restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. We will be happy to provide you with information at reception. Various drinks are available in the lobby for a fee.

 

Does the Hotel Waldhorn have air conditioning?

We do not have air conditioning, but fans are available in all rooms during the summer.

 

Is a baby crib available?

On request, we will be happy to provide you with a baby crib incl. bed linen in your room / limited number available.

 

Are pets allowed?

Pets are welcome. The cost per pet is CHF 15.00 per stay. Pets can be booked when making a reservation / see online booking via the homepage. Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room.

 

Are parking spaces available and how much do they cost?

We have a parking garage in the 2nd basement of the hotel, access by car lift. Reservation is required, costs CHF 20.00 per night. Alternatively, there are parking spaces in the blue zone in the neighborhood; daily permits for the blue zone can be purchased at any Bern Mobil ticket machine or online for CHF 16.00 / 24h.

 

Can I charge my electric car at the Hotel Waldhorn?

You can charge your electric car in our underground parking garage. The cost is CHF 0.45 per kWh. Only in connection with a parking space reservation.

 

Bern Ticket

With every booking you will receive Bern tickets for all guests to travel on public transport. The tickets are valid on the entire network in Bern and the surrounding area 100/101. Also, for the trip to Belp Airport, the Gurtenbahn and the Marzilibahn. The tickets are valid for your entire stay, for as many journeys as you like.

Alternatively, your reservation confirmation also serves as a ticket from Bern station to us (Viktoriaplatz stop) with tram no. 9.
